In general, the technology has advanced by leaps in each time interval. The basis for each leap is discoveries or major inventions radicallychanging essential engineering and technological principles and opening up new vistas for the technical progress in all spheres of science and technology.

The potentialities of improving products operating based on a specific engineering principle are being gradually exhausted. Attaining new qualities requires increased financing and further specialization of labor.

The site presents a new class of positive–displacement devices — Holubeu Machines — serving as a non–conventional element basis for developing different types of hydraulic and pneumatic motors, hot–gas engines (Otto, Diesel, Bryaton, Rankine cycles), compressors and pumps (Section Fields of Application of Holubeu Machines and Machines and Mechanisms Modifications). Two major kinematic schemes are illustrated, each having particular design and operational advantages depending on the application specifics and allowing development of multi–chamber positive–displacement devices combining the working–chamber sealing property, being characteristic of classical piston–type devices, with kinematic merits of rotary devices, such as Wankel internal combustion engines (Sections Holubeu Machine Description and Technical Characteristics and Comparison of Holubeu Machines with Alternative Devices). Furthermore, the new element basis significantly expands the «operation field» by creating new potentialities for integrated and packaged devices. The site also briefly presents the Holubeu joint and a feed system with pneumatic (gas) fuel atomization (Section Conceptual Designs). The site content comprises only separate, mainly patented or patent–pending engineering solutions and is aimed at attracting the attention of rather ambitious and wealthy investors capable of visioning the prospects of developing a single commercial product for the current and especially future technology.

The cooperation algorithm (Section Cooperation Specifics) provided on the site reduces potential risks of an investor (customer) and in addition implies not only execution of a specific order, but also the possibilities of jointly creating and protecting the intellectual property.

The Spetsmetalloizdeliya Company and its division — Machines and Mechanisms Laboratory (MML) — explore and realize the invention which was named after the author — Holubeu Machines — due to its pioneering character.

Using its own special theoretical research and experiments, the Machines and Mechanisms Laboratory (MML) will implement the following required work package to develop products of a principally innovative design with kinematic construction principles — Holubeu Machines (MG) — applied actually in any field of technology:

• calculation of parameters defining superiority of the product to be developed;
• identification of conceptual, schematic and theoretical engineering solutions;
• manufacture of models, mockups, preproduction models and prototypes;
• development of the engineering documentation.

Given the fact that uncertainty of taking engineering decisions is extremely high at the initial development stages, the innovative equipment is being consistently and systematically developed and manufactured to minimize the risk of error and the risk of obtaining a negative result. This objective may be accomplished by splitting development stages into simple jobs (scientific and engineering products), thereby allowing the Customer to examine technical solutions to make sure without special knowledge and big financial expenditure that the path selected is correct.

Holubeu Machines

The basic invention was made by Vladimir Iosifovich Holubeu more than twenty years ago. Over that period, various GM mockups, models and prototypes have been produced and advantages and disadvantages have been explored. The studies have convinced the author and his counterparts of the following: the Holubeu Machines are operable and will be of interest to the consumers as an effectual alternative with a high implementation potential.

1. The Holubeu Machine kinematic construction–based products substantially meet the following current consumer requirements:
   • significant improvement of technical characteristics and performance;
   • reduced product cost, energy and material intensity in process of production and operation;
   • usability, reliability and serviceability;
   • low labor intensity, low production cost and high factor of compatibility, unification, reproducibility and low specific materials–output ratio;
   • compliance with the environmental protection requirements.
2. When used, current consumer requirements are met through the following technological advantages of the Holubeu MACHINE:

4. Design features of the Holubeu MACHINE and its application as a kinematic construction basis will allow new unique products to be developed and the most demanding consumer requirements to be met.
5. It is the specialists’ opinion, confirmed by patents and publications, that the Holubeu Machines will be advanced most in the machine–building industry owing to their simplicity, reliability, durability, efficiency of application and manufacture.
